A native of Thomasville, Georgia, singer-songwriter Victor Perry has always channeled his rural gospel roots and infused them with new-school influences, crafting a sound that connects to the soul. The twenty-two-year old’s music surfaces as an Alternative-Pop/R&B melody inspired by mainstream acts such as Mikky Ekko, Angus and Julia, Rihanna, and Coldplay. Holistically, traces of Indie-Alternative, Alternative Pop, and Alternative R&B soundscapes weave organically throughout his music. With a voice that seemingly knows no limits, Perry delivers melodies that appeal to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Indeed, his vocals are right at home on his covers of groundbreaking pop ballads such as Sia’s “Chandelier” and Adele’s “Hello.”

Delivered by a voice with harmonic lyrical phrasing and contemporary crooning, Perry’s lyrical capabilities range from metaphoric calls for love to poetic searches of self-expression. His newest single, “Lighthouse,” off his EP – 4 A.M. Nostalgia, establishes a narrative that reveals a delicate perspective on the complicated nature of both being in love and what love is in itself.  In what seems to be a display of vulnerability to some, his music reiterates the timeless battle between love’s beauty and its toxicity.
